Head Games

Even though I’ve been sick all week I still managed to crank out a comic. I haven’t even played very much Warcraft this week because I’ve been so sick. I hope I am better by Saturday to go see Sin City. The previews make it look more like a comic than anything I’ve ever seen. Continue reading "Head Games"

While I Was Out

Just in case you were wondering this is why there hasn’t been a comic. Today’s comic features special guest stars The Raj and Heather. I’ll let you figure out which is which. So yeah I finally got the TV I always wanted. Having HDTV for the first time I found myself watching anything that was in HD. Suddenly Trading Spaces and The District seemed interesting. Now that the novelty has worn off I have gone back to World of Warcraft. Brad and I have just created new characters on the server BloodHoof. Continue reading "While I Was Out"

Risky Business

K-dog’s party was a lot of fun as usual. We played Risk early in the night. The other games that were played were Super Monkey Ball, Goldeneye, Pop’n Music, Karaoke Revolution, DDR and World Class Track Meet. I broke out a little Parappa the Rapper 2 and Rez later on. The next morning there was some GTA3 played then we went up to Club 180 to play K-dog’s arcade machines. New to the club was Kangaroo on free play. Saturday night we tried an interesting experiment. Brad, Will, Cassadi, Goz and I played a game of Risk. Except, Goz was in Kenton while the rest of us were in Columbus. We set up Will’s laptop and iSight so that Goz could see our game board. He also set up a game board at his place so he could see where all the armies were. The game took a little longer because we had to announce our moves to Goz so he could update his board but it really didn’t drag the game down as much as you would think. I wouldn’t want to throw another remote player into the mix because then I think it would be really hard to coordinate everything that’s going on. You could have a few people in two locations and I think that would work. Another idea we didn’t get to fully implement was using laptops to send secret messages to each other. I think Brad and Goz’s secret alliance gave Brad the upper hand. It would be more fair if everyone had a laptop. Check back tomorrow for a MAME cabinet update! Continue reading "Risky Business"

TB v. Rogg – The Verdict

Here is the conclusion of Friday’s comic. Over the weekend I got to play some horrible NES games, stay up horribly late and perform horribly at a DDR tournament. It was a good time! K-Dog and Lynex came down for DDRMME 3. Friday night we went over to the Devryguyz and played some of The Rogg’s collection of really bad NES games. There was Where’s Waldo, Heroes of the Lance and Xenophobe just to name a few. On Saturday I played in the DDR tournament. They lured me in with a tshirt for signing up. I’m sure K-Dog will post more about the tournament. Sunday I got back into playing Knights of the Old Republic. I am on this insanely hard battle versus two big creatures on the Sith world. If anyone has gotten by this let me know how you did it. The Opposite of Crap

K-Dog’s Birthday Party was one of the best ones yet. Continuing his streak of great parties, there were lots of people, lots of games and lots of laughs. We had a total of 4 TVs continously going with different games: Timesplitters 2 Halo Super Monkey Ball DDR Conker’s Bad Fur Day Perfect Dark World Class Track Meet It wasn’t all video games because we also had Catch Phrase and RAW Deal. I think at some point people were watching Lord of the Rings. All in all it was a great time. In addition to the new comic I also updated the characters page. Continue reading "The Opposite of Crap"

I feel another cartoon crossover coming on

Sup. Goz and I got to hang out with the DevryGuyz Tuesday night. I think it’s going to turn into a weekly thing for me. I also found out there is a DDR Extreme machine just a few minutes away from my apt. I’ll probably check it out this weekend. Next weekend I’m looking forward to Daredevil. K-Dog and Kwik might be coming down as well. Lastly, I don’t know how many people watch Smallville but this weeks episode was pretty good. As the series has progressed we see Clark Kent as he goes through high school discovering his new powers. This week his new super power was he got a pair of balls and finally asked Lana Lane out. Granted, all hell broke lose and they never got to go on that date but at least it was nice to see Clark not being a wuss for once. Continue reading "I feel another cartoon crossover coming on"
