The Cleanup

The Cleanup
Today’s comic is true except for one part. K-Dog and I never help cleanup after Christmas. Well I got some cool stuff for Christmas. 24 Season 2 DVD, Friends Season 5 and Coupling Season 2 (the good Coupling, not the American version). I also got a couple of hand-me-downs. Since my mom got a new microwave I got their old one. The microwave I had previous was so old it wasn’t even digital. I think it was the brand “Radiation King”. I also got Goz’s old entertainment center. This is great because now I can finally have all my classic systems hooked up at the same time. I’ll put up some pictures of my new gaming layout later. So I’m just curious, did anyone else get cool presents? Continue reading "The Cleanup"

Sweet Leaping Lords!

Sweet Leaping Lords!
For some reason the site was down yesterday. So here is a special Tuesday comic! So last weekend was pretty eventful. There was the Devryguyz Christmas party, then we saw LOTR Saturday, then my family Christmas Sunday. I got a couple of DVDs and a waffle maker. Cool site of the day I also found a cool site called Guzzlefish. This site lets you enter in all your DVDs, Games and CDs, then you get a approximate value for your collection. It’s pretty fun. You can see my collection here. Continue reading "Sweet Leaping Lords!"

I’m Special

I’m Special
This comic is mostly true. If life imitates art, then my life would be a kindergardener’s finger painting stuck to the refrigerator. I’ve been torn lately on what kind of comics to do for next week. I either want to do Christmas comics, or do a special “Best of 2003” week like every other website on the planet. Except that my best of 2003 would be jokes and not just another top 10 list. What do you guys think? Continue reading "I’m Special"

Ghost Town

Ghost Town
I’m back to three comics a week, but you probably won’t see today’s comic because you’re too busy watching Return of the King. It appears just about everyone I know went and saw the new Lord of the Rings movie last night. I want to go see it if I can find someone else that wants to go. I won’t go to movies by myself, its just too weird. Anyway, Christmas is about a week away and I’m really not that excited. My job has been sucking the last couple months, my love life is nonexistant and I’m just generally bored. I’ll take up the role of Scrooge and bah humbug my way through New Years. Rudolph, Frosty and the Ghost of Christmas past would have to fight off a horde of Nazi Robots to save this Christmas. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to go set up my Festivus pole. Award Shows Suck

Award Shows Suck
Yes, this past weekend there was yet another awards show. But wait, you say, this one was different. It was to celebrate video games. Then have a video game show… Don’t have a 2 hour long LOUD commercial about games we all no should NOT get awards (such as Enter the Matrix). No nominations, who knows how they voted, and wrap it all up in a tight little sex package composed of cheerleaders and DOA volleyball girls. I guess this is how you sell things to the networks. And my final rant is the deceptive advertising for the show. All the ads featured classic arcade characters and sounds, where were these in the show? Continue reading "Award Shows Suck"

Think Outside Your Butt

Think Outside Your Butt
Today’s comic happened to the guy ahead of me in line. He didn’t get mad but he did have to explain his order at least four or five times. When his food finally did come up (are you ready for this), the order was still wrong! Surprisement! So anyway the holiday season is upon us. It’s time for me to take a break from my hobbies like crochet and making up words to buy Christmas presents. While Monday I demonstrated my disgust with shopping during this season I have now decided to buy all my gifts online. Buying online has so many advantages. I don’t have to fight crowds, I can find exactly what I want and I don’t have to wear pants. Take that Best Buy! Best Buy’s acceptable clothing policies aside I should get back to my shopping now if I want to get these items by Christmas. Wait, did I say crochet? I meant croquet.
