Black Holes and Aspirations

Lately I’ve been getting all caught up with different side projects that never really went anywhere. I’ve been working on video game reviews, a cartoon and movie reviews, but none of these projects have been as fun (or as quick and easy) as making comics. So I am going back to a regular update schedule for the comic. Every Tuesday and Thursday come back to Bitsmack for a new webcomic. Tell your friends, tell your enemies, tell your secret lovers. Bitsmack is back with a vengeance!

Great to see comics again! Though I don’t quite get this particular one, I always look forward to more.

OK, upon further review, maybe I do get this one. The part that I missed is that the red-haired person in the first panels is supposed to be a female. I guess that’s some kind of pony-tail hanging on the back of her hair.

Perhaps RC could draw boobs or something so that all the characters aren’t exhibiting this homomorphic androgyny.

Not to pat myself on the back but my drawing of T-Bob is easily one of my top 5 accomplishments THIS MONTH.

Ok so I need to redo the bodies on female characters, check! Before I lost all my comic templates I really hated the way my female characters looked. I tried to make them smaller than guys and they ended up looking weird. Now Bitsmack apparently exists in a utopian world where everyone is the same size and body type.

Also, I totally want to use “homomorphic androgyny” as a future comic.

“everyone is the same size and body type” isn’t exactly my idea of a utopian world.

“Honey…there’s something I’ve been wanting to ask you for awhile now…”

    “Yes, dear?”

    “Are you even a woman?”

LOL maybe utopian wasn’t the most accurate word. In a world where everyone is the same shape there are no body issues whatsoever. Is there an -opia that means “a world where self esteem is not affected by body image”? Perhaps there should be.

    “Homomorphic Androgynopia”
