And of course this is only BASED on a true story. In reality K-Dogg legally purchased XP which then turned out to be spanish… right?

I don’t like to get into legal discussions, but according to software piracy laws it is legal to download software if
a. you purchased it
or b. you want it bad enough
This is all outlined in the Victimless Crime Act of 1998. I know this legal jargon can be confusing so if anyone needs further explaination they can attend my piracy seminar "Photoshop Dreams on an MS Paint budget." Sign up now!

Actually, it was someone he knew had an xp cd that was messed up or something(which they legally bought) so he said he’d help, so he downloaded a legal backup for the person, then when he went to install it for his friend, it booted up all in spanish, even the driver loading screen and everything, haha, it was great.

Follow up
I found a person kind enough to let me borrow their XP Home Ed Upgrade.
The machine is now fixed and working fine.
That machine also had bad RAM, most likely because of the idiots who worked on it before me since I found a stick half out of the slot.
That was the basis for why when they ran the restore CDs they didn’t work for some reason…. DUH! but according to them her motherboard was bad, after they already told her it was her HD and kept her old one! That’s 80 Gbs I could have had!
