Leavin on a Jet Plane – Part 3
Today’s comic is the final part of “things I thought about while I was bored on an airplane.” It’s Friday the 13th… BOO! Who decided Friday the 13th to be an unlucky day? Sure the number 13 is bad but why Friday? I’d be much more scared of a Monday the 13th, or a pissed off Wednesday the 25th. Oooooh I’m so scared of Friday, "You will be cursed with not having to work tomorrow, HA! HA! HA!"</scary voice> Uh oh, now I’ve probably pissed off Friday the 13th, but what’s he going to do abou– fnkashahlkjahlafnmajg;hejngrgsarrrrrgggghhhhh….. ………………… …………………….. …… Continue reading "Leavin on a Jet Plane – Part 3"

Today’s comic can not be used as a floatation device. If you couldn’t tell the last picture is supposed to be William Shatner from that old Twilight Zone episode. The picture kinda sucks, but I didn’t look very hard. You don’t feel like a real loser until you are searching the internet for pictures of Captain Kirk. Compaq, if you didn’t hate them already I’ll give you a reason. Yesterday I went out to a client site to install software on a new workstation. One of the managers got a brand new Compaq laptop. This thing was close to top of the line and running Windows XP Professional. Straight out of the box it stalls several times and takes a few minutes to start up. The reason why, all the crap programs that come preloaded. You’ve got MusicMatch, AOL, virus software, the system tray is lit up like a Christmas tree. It also appears Microsoft’s cleaner desktop idea has been thrown out the window because all these crap programs have to fling their icons out there like a monkey throwing poo. I understand that a lot of users who don’t know better install all kinds of crap on their computer, thus degrading preformance. However, the way Compaq sends out their computers doesn’t even give the user a fighting chance. My advice to anyone buying a new computer is to buy from a company that only preinstalls Windows. Your computer will run a lot better. Continue reading "Leavin on a Jet Plane – Part 2"

Leavin on a Jet Plane – Part 1

Leavin on a Jet Plane – Part 1
Today’s comic is the first part of my aeronautical escapades. Goz said the site would not become anarchy while I was gone and yet what do I find when I get back? The comics have been replaced with these disturbing moving images that involve the Village People and me placing my hand into a very provacative area of E. Honda. Anyway, I’m back and proud to bring you some classic Bitsmack comics. Toilet seat covers: sewn by Lucifer, implemented by women Saturday night I went to a co-workers house to watch game 6 of the Stanley Cup. Yeah, I know its a sport but I’m branching out. Anyway, when I try to use the restroom I find this seat cover attached to the toilet lid like a parasitic life form. What purpose does this thing serve? Do some people actually say “I think I would sit on the toilet lid more if only it were comfortable.” Hypotheses aside, I lift the lid and the seat to its full upright position in order to accomplish optimal beverage evacuation. Suddenly, the toilet seat falls, just fractions of an inch away from my Master Sword. It’s then that I realize the purpose of this porcelain infestation. This is just an elaborate scheme by women to keep the toilet seat down. Why else would these seat covers be made out of thick shag carpeting? It is time this conspiracy is brought to the light. I can only wonder what other seemingly innocent household devices are tools in the female underground revolution… Continue reading "Leavin on a Jet Plane – Part 1"

Today’s comic is a tribute to the end of a great show: Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Ok, so the comic has little to do with the show. It still was a great run.

The $8.75 Red Pill

The .75 Red Pill
You have already decided whether or not to read today’s comic. You just need to figure out why you made that choice. The Matrix Reloaded is two movies in one! You have an action movie with pretty cool special effects, then you also have an hour long psudo-psychology lecture. These two movies really have no relationship with one another. I enjoyed the movie and want to see it again, but I think it was way too preachy at times. What do you think? Join our discussion in the forums. Continue reading "The $8.75 Red Pill"

Wheel of Density… er Destiny

Wheel of Density… er Destiny
I would like to buy a vowel. Tonight is the Matrix and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m hoping this is the “Empire Strikes Back” of Matrix movies. A real “Morpheus frozen in carbonite, Neo gets his hand cut off, finds out Agent Smith is his father” kind of movie. I probably won’t even be able to talk about the Matrix Reloaded until next week because I don’t won’t to ruin it for all the normal people that won’t see it till this weekend. If you like DDR or have no idea what it is you should check out www.bemanistyle.com. It’s a great site for all things Bemani. The Barter System

The Barter System
Today’s comic is not a form of currency. I had a pretty uneventful weekend, though I did get to play some games and get caught up on my recorded TV shows. In another week or so I won’t have hardly any shows to watch. K-Dog supposedly had a DDR tournament in Defiance and hopefully he’ll let us know how that went. Continue reading "The Barter System"

Show us your moves… again
Today’s comic is not an exaggeration. Since I was able to beta test XBOX Live last year they gave me a year of service for free. That being said, I haven’t actually used it for months. The only game I have is Mechassult. Even though there are some interesting games I’d like to play the headset is not as cool as you would expect. Everyone I come into contact with can be grouped into three catagories:
 1. People who spout profanity every other word
 2. Nerds that are so annoying they couldn’t possibly have real friends
 3. Children who are also annoying because they talk too loud and/or use the stupid voice masking
Sure you can always mute someone who is annoying you but this isn’t very feasible when you are playing a racing game like MotoGP. Ultimately, if I ever get another XBOX Live game I probably won’t bother plugging in the headset. Continue reading "Show us your moves… again"

A comic based on a movie based on a comic

A comic based on a movie based on a comic
It’s hard to do a comic based on such an awesome movie. I could have done a comic based on K-Dogg introducing me to the game Pop N Music, but there are enough comics about me getting addicted to some game. Saturday, Taiko no Tatsujin came in the mail. The intro movie is hilarious, possibly because it’s all in Japanese and looks like a lot of completely unrelated images. I’ve played it with the dual shock controller because the drum controller won’t arrive till Wednesday. So far it’s a pretty cool game. I also got DDRMAX2 and the only complaint K-Dogg and I have is that it is missing the song “A Minute”, which is one of my favorites in the arcade. Back in my day…

Back in my day…
Today’s comic teaches you while you learn. Last night the Devryguyz, Goz and I went and saw X2. My short review: awesome. I think it almost surpasses Spider-Man as the best comic book based movie. I think I actually want to go see it again it is so good. Even the previews were good, I got to see a longer Hulk trailer and of course Matrix Reloaded. There was also a trailer for The League of Extrodinary Gentlemen. I’m not familar with the comic book it’s based on, but the movie looks incredible. I’ll post more on X2 later, after more people have seen it. In other news, the Top Member for the month of April is mushroomman2004. Keep writing great reviews, you could be next! Continue reading "Back in my day…"
