No News is Good News
It’s time for a Bitsmack “Choose your own adventure”. It’s 4am and you are awaken by a pounding at the front door, followed by indistinguishable yelling by a man and a woman. Do you:
a. Open the door to see what they want.
b. Call the cops.
c. Stay in bed and hope the whole thing blows over.
If you chose C then you and I think alike. I found out by my neighbor this morning that the guy banging at the door had <a href=http://www.nbc4i.com/news/5160029/detail.html>got stabbed over by the railroad tracks</a> near my condo. I am pretty sure he doesn’t live in my neighborhood. In retrospect I probably should have called the cops, but somebody had already done that and they arrived pretty quickly.
And of course it gave me an idea for a comic…

How I Spent My Summer Vacation
Here is a pretty <a href=https://www.bitsmack.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=464>fair assessment</a> of my vacation a couple weeks ago.
Over the weekend I bought a new monitor to use for dual display with my eMac. I got a Samsung 17” LCD monitor. It is really nice. I use my second display so I can chat on AIM and surf the web while I am playing Warcraft on my main screen.

Bitsmack: Year Four
Today is the <a href=https://www.bitsmack.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=463>3rd Anniversary</a> of Bitsmack. Now that I am back from vacation I should be able to get back to a regular comic schedule.

2-Bit Comics
K-Dog <a href=https://www.bitsmack.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=462>had a party.</a> Games were played.
My project this week was soft modding the XBOX. K-Dog hooked me up with a memory card and Splinter Cell and 5 min later my XBOX was modded. The whole process was easier than your mom. Since then I have installed the XBOX Media Center, an NES emulator, SNES emulator and an N64 emulator. I am really impressed with the XBOX Media Center and how well it plays videos off my computer over the network. If you have an XBOX and don’t mind breaking the law I recommend modding it to turn it into a cheap media PC for the living room.
