Star Trek 10: So Very Tired
WARNING: <a href=modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=92>Today’s comic</a> contains spoilers for Star Trek Nemesis. You have been warned. So yeah, we went and saw the movie. It was ok. There weren’t really any surprises and nothing we haven’t seen before in Star Trek episodes. The special effects were impressive. And luckily no one ever “went to manual” (see Star Trek Insurrection). If I were to rank my favorite Star Trek movies it would be as follows:
  1. II The Wrath of Khan
  2. IV The Voyage Home
  3. VI The Undiscovered Country
  4. First Contact
  5. Nemesis
  6. Generations
  7. III The Search for Spock (only because the Enterprise gets blown up)

Finally Final Finals

Finally Final Finals
And on that <a href=modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=90>note,</a> we cue the music. Today I took my last two finals and turned in my final programming project. I am now officially done with college, officially. I going to get a lot of game playing done in the next couple of weeks while I look for a new job, most likely Beatmania and Medal of Honor. Kruton and I have been playing MOH online lately and it is a pretty fun game as long as no one is using cheats. I like how it is a little more realistic than other FPS. Instead of carrying 7 or 8 weapons at one time you only have a main weapon, a pistol and gernades. Continue reading "Finally Final Finals"

Right now I actually don’t know what I’m going to do next. I’m still looking for a job. Next week I have finals. How messed up is that? I go through graduation and then have to take finals. Last homework ever
In case you were wondering why K-Dog gets hurt so much in the comic this <a href=modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=87>comic</a> should explain things. I’m not much of a PC gamer but when kruton asked me to join up for some Medal of Honor LAN action I thought “cool”. Today’s comic isn’t our exact conversation but it was pretty close. I can’t really blame them for quitting early to do homework, I have my own homework not getting done because I am doing comics about not getting to play games. The way I see it this is my last week ever to procrastinate on homework. It’s sort of sentimental in a lazy “not actually sentimental at all” kind of way. The End… or is it?
Berzerker fans might be upset by <a href=modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=86>today’s comic.</a> However, all is not lost. Anyone who has ever read a comic book before knows that no one stays dead forever. Stay tuned to see if, when and how Berzerker returns. In other news, this is my last week of class… ever. Oh yeah, posting
Ah, <a href=modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=85>Thanksgiving Eve.</a> I normally would have posted sooner, but since I didn’t have class today all of my higher brain functions shut down. Luckily, I was still able to make it out to the couch for some daytime TV. Kruton let me borrow Beatmania IIDX and I have to say this is the most challenging rhythm game I’ve played. Busy Weekend

Busy Weekend
There is a <a href=modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=84>comic</a> today. Kruton and I had a busy weekend. We went to Defiance to play Para Para Paradise. It’s an ok game. Then we went to a LAN party and played some Medal of Honor. Also, Kruton finally got a Beatmania controller and 5th style. I have to say that Beatmania is a really cool game. In other news, I’m stuck on a boss in Metroid Prime already. I know how to beat him but it is just hard. I also haven’t been playing much XBOX Live lately. I’m getting tired of the demos and I haven’t went out to buy Unreal Championship or MechAssult yet. Oh, and Bitsmack finally got it’s 100th member! Woo Hoo! Continue reading "Busy Weekend"

<a href=modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=83>Today’s comic</a> was done by <a href=user.php?op=userinfo&uname=Artzydivahuf>Artzydivahuf.</a> Now I normally don’t sleep very soundly but I obviously overslept by a couple months because I looked out the window this morning and what do I see? SNOW! Looking at all the snow made me think of what Hell must look like ever since I bought a Gamecube. So yesterday I finally got Guitar Freaks/Drummania for PS2. Upon picking it up at the post office I immedately raised the game into the air and proclaimed “by the power of Greyskull, I HAVE THE POWER!” However, my drum pads still haven’t came yet and it’s just not the same playing it with the controller. Fun with scanners
<a href=https://www.bitsmack.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=82>I like Metroid Prime.</a> My initial impressions of Metroid Prime is that it is awesome. I think Nintendo handed Retro Studios a copy of Super Metroid and said “this is the greatest game ever, don’t screw it up.” And Retro Studios did not. The game is just like previous Metroid games in the sense that you are exploring one big world. The items you get along the way give you access to parts of the world that were inaccessable. Metroid Prime cut into my comic making last night so I took a shortcut. In fact, I don’t know why I’m not playing it right now. Uh… gotta go. Continue reading "Fun with scanners"
