The Bitsmack Effect – Part 2
There you go, one week of <a href=https://www.bitsmack.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=381>comics.</a> Inspiration Last weekend I got to see Brad from <a href=http://www.devryguyz.com>DevryGuyz</a> beat Megaman X in 1 hour 30 min. Not only does he beat the game but he gets every single weapon, item and secret. It was amazing. So when I got home I looked for a game I could beat. I found Ducktales for the NES. The first couple times I played I died a lot, but now I can beat it on normal in 21 min. I’m not done yet though because I know of a couple of ways I can cutoff some time, and I did die twice. Ohayocon 2004 – Part 1

Ohayocon 2004 – Part 1
I’m back! In order to make up for last week I am doing 5 comics this week starting with <a href=https://www.bitsmack.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=377>this one.</a> This was a pretty eventful weekend. I put in an offer on a house and it got excepted so I’m moving at the end of February. Yesterday was also Ohayocon in Columbus. It was kind of cool. Game K-Dog got me talked into playing of the week <a href=http://www.interactivemusicexchange.com/>IMX</a> is like the stock market game except that you are buying and selling music artists. It is free to play and you can turn in your fake money for real prizes. If you get the Fuse network there is also a show that goes along with the game in some way. Ice Cold Justice
It’s <a href=https://www.bitsmack.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Comics&file=index&action=comic&id=374>cold</a> outside. Real cold. Today’s comic isn’t the one that got erased Wednesday. I’ll save that idea for another day when I can’t think of an idea. Did anyone see the MTV Ultimate Gaming Countdown? I was going to avoid it fearing that it would only pander to the adolecent male gamer sterotype and be another GTA lovefest. Instead I gave it chance because Seanbaby of EGM fame hosted it. It becomes obvious fairly quickly that he is funnier as a writer than a TV host. The show then turns into an hour long Filter episode with better background music. The one thing it did offer however was instead of just counting down a list they interviewed the most crazed fanatic for each game. For Dance Dance Revolution they interviewed a girl who lost a lot of weight playing the game. This is great and all but do you have to mention the number of pounds you lost no fewer than 3 times? After that they invterview a guy who bought one of the cars from Gran Turismo 3. I don’t really know how the rest of the episode went because I haven’t watched it all. On the one hand, the show kinda sucks. But on the other hand it’s about video games, so I’m torn. If you get a chance turn on MTV. I have no doubt they’ll rerun this a few times a day for the next couple weeks. Continue reading "Ice Cold Justice"
