The Id Family Enjoyment Company announced today that they are working on a follow up to wildly popular board game “The Duke of Nukem Travels to the Third Dimension.” In this new game entitled “Duke Nukem Forever” you play as a royal duke of the fictional country Nukem. A Martian invasion has commenced in an unsavory neighborhood and only you and your Colt Peacemaker can dispatch them. Your adventure takes you through taverns and brothels as you lay waste to each and every little green man. When asked for a more definite release date, Id said it would hit stores “when it’s done.”

Nothing really surprising on the list, except for the juggernaut that is Madden ’07, which made the list twice. It was the number 1 game with 1.8 million copies sold for the PS2, and number 9, with 826,000 copies sold for the Xbox360.

I know there are those that love the Madden games, but I can’t justify spending $50 on a game when Madden ’06 can be picked up for under $10 used. Besides, everyone knows that football games reached their zenith with NFL 2K1 on the Dreamcast.

Wow, GamePro is running a positive article about The 24 Things You Need to Know About the PS3. I would re-title it to The 24 Lame Things You Need to Know About the PS3. The article delves into such mundane details such as the number of Kiosks available, that one led is dedicated to the hard drive activity, and the fact that the PS3 is “very, very shiny”.

I want to know why Sony picked the Spider-man font for the PS3. Everytime I see PS3 stuff I think that it’s pertaining to Spider-man III, not the PS3.

This is a blatent ripoff of Namco’s game Katamari Damacy. But the commercial is still pretty hilarious.
