Full DS title downloads reach Wii - news - play™

Nintendo US boss Reggie Fils-Aime has today confirmed that full-title DS downloads will soon be available on the Wii console. The new feature will allow Wii / DS owners to download full games via the console before transferring them over the handheld.

Just great, more stuff to fill up the measly 512mb of internal memory. If they’re going to do this, I hope the first thing they do is port the Virtual Console over to the DS and let me play any VC titles I’ve downloaded on my Wii on my DS.

So, this really doesn’t have to do with video games, oddball comics or other geekery, but, I don’t care.

Here’s a picture of my car. It’s nothing fancy; it is entirely adequate for getting from point A to point B. It was the first brand new car we ever bought, and immediately upon purchasing it, I got the buyer’s remorse. So amazingly expensive. But, we were DINKs, young and foolish, so what the heck, we got the car.

Fast-forward seven years to today (well, July, actually), and this car has turned out to be worth every penny. Here’s a blurry picture of the odometer. It is difficult to get a good photograph while operating a motor vehicle on a busy suburban interstate highway during rush hour, so the picture is crappy. Click on the image to see the full-size version.

Being an anti-social hermit, I don’t get out much. I have no friends and no life, so it shouldn’t surprise anybody that I am totally clueless about things like the Xbox 360, The Colbert Report, or Posh Spice.

But, I do manage to venture forth from my lair on rare occasions, and I did so on Monday night. It was worth it, because I spotted my first iPhone in the wild.

I didn’t actually see the screen, but I saw the owner typing (slowly) on its surface, and she rotated it back and forth a few times during use.

Damn, but that thing is small. Sweet. Hot. The Bomb. Awesome. EleventyOne111!!!!!

Question for the Bitsmack audience: Will I burn in hell for having unclean sexual thoughts about a consumer electronics device?
