The creators of this movie need to take a few more lessons from Pixar (and to a lesser extent Disney) to show how to make an entertainable film to kids and adults alike. They replaced the scrolling text at the beginning with a voice over that sounds straight from Starship Troopers. In fact, I was waiting for the line, “Would you like to know more?”. I can understand that they want to set up the movie for kids, and that kids nowadays can’t read a complete sentence to save their life, but at least put up the scrolling credits and have a voice read them to us.

I sort of had high hopes for the movie, but those were dashed pretty quickly. There were hints throughout that seemed like they could’ve added depth, but then they were forgotten. I was very disappointed in the light saber duels. Here is where the animation should’ve shown incredible battles, but it wasn’t anything better than what was in the prequels.

Maybe I’ll post some spoilers later, but it was better than Battlefield Earth.

I’m sure that scene will be in the extended version.

BTW, in your review you totally missed them ripping off Star Trek with the holographic doctor!

The only line I liked in the whole movie was from that scene:

“You will take this and LIKE IT!”

Clone Wars was one of the worst things ever. And not just on film.
