Next Generation has an opinion piece titled The Troubles of PlayStation 3
Shortages of PS3 are going to be horrendous. We are not talking here, about long lines outside retail outlets, but numbers that barely qualify as mass market.
Now I have no desire for a PS3, but can this be good news for anybody? Is Nintendo poised to win the next generation battle with the least powerful console?

I doubt it will hurt them much, considering that Microsoft released precious few XBox 360’s last Christmas and they still made out okay.
Yea, but the rumors are there will be less PS3s than even the 360s…
The article offers no facts to back up his opinion that there will be shortages, so I don’t really see what the problem is.
While the Wii is interesting, I still favor Sony overall because the Playstation has historically had more games that I like to play.
