I just want to let People know that the Gamecube Pikmin is getting a sequel. Nintendo is making Pikmin 2.
Pikmin was a great game and I intend to buy Pikmin 2. I suggest that other Gamecube owners buy it as well.
For those who have never played Pikmin, you control a man named Captain Olimar. You command an army of plant creatures. You command the Pikmin creatures to attack enemies and carry objects. I’m looking forward to playing Pikmin 2.

I absolutely positively loved Pikmin. It was my first Game Cube game.
The game itself is a real drug trip; I don’t know what recreational pharmaceuticals the game designers were using.
But, what I really appreciated most about Pikmin was that I was actually able to beat the game! It took me about four weekends to conquer it. Contrast this with other modern games like GTA3 and FFX that boast "hundreds of hours" of game time. That’s crazy. I’ve had GTA3 for a year and a half, and I still haven’t gotten past the first Portland stage.
