Most EB clerks have no idea of anything. They want you to think EVERY game will sell MAJOR so that they can trick you into buying it from them or pre-ordering it from them or what not. I havn’t pre-ordered anything since 1999 and I have had NO problems picking up any game I want, on it’s release date even.

EB clerks do suck. I went in to get my link cable and GC link cable. I asked them if they worked with the SP. They both looked at each other and had no idea. I mean I know this stuff because I’m a gamer, but this is their JOB. Sure it may not be their life long career but they should still be able to answer simple questions. Fortunately both cables work with the SP.

The sad thing is, I don’t even know if the store’s name was EB, but I think it is. The video game stores in the malls are so much alike, I don’t know where I am most of the time. This store was at the Tuttle Mall, so I think it was EB.

Electronics Boutique and EB Games are the same company. Gamestop, Funcoland, Software Etc, and Babbages are all the same company.
